At Harley Harmon, we proudly welcome and support the children and families of our U.S. Armed Forces. We recognize the unique circumstances and challenges that come with military life—especially the frequent moves and family separations due to deployments. As a school, we are dedicated to helping our military-connected students thrive both academically and socially.

According to the Nevada Department of Education, there are approximately 11,000 military-connected students in the state. We know that the average military child moves 6-9 times between kindergarten and 12th grade, which is three times more often than their civilian peers. Our state is a member of the Military Interstate Children's Compact Commission (MIC3), which provides consistency and support for transitioning students in key areas like eligibility, enrollment, course placement, and graduation requirements.
