Assembly Bill 195: English Language Learners

Assembly Bill 195 (AB 195), passed during the 2021 legislative session, is widely known as the English Learner (EL) Bill of Rights. It strengthens the protections for English Learner (EL) students and their families across Nevada. Under Section 3, the bill outlines specific rights while mandating that school districts improve transparency through detailed data reporting.
